About me

With over 30 years as a wine lover and more than a decade working professionally in the industry, I’ve built my career around exploring, understanding, and sharing the world of wine. As a certified sommelier, wine agent, wine judge and now the founder of The Winesaver, I’ve worked closely with wineries, led tastings, collaborated on industry projects, and represented quality brands across Europe. These experiences have strengthened not only my understanding of wine, but also my respect for the care and precision that go into every bottle.

Over time, I realised that while most conversations in the wine world focus on taste, origin, and pairing, far less attention is given to how wine is actually cared for. Winemakers dedicate extraordinary effort to protecting their wines from oxidation during ageing and production, using controlled temperatures, careful handling and inert gases like argon long before the wine is bottled. That same level of care is just as important once the bottle leaves the winery.

This is where my passion naturally evolved, from simply talking about wine to helping people understand how to protect it properly, from grape to glass. Therefore I want this platform reflects that focus. As “The Winesaver” my goal is to share practical knowledge on how to look after your wine at every stage: such as storing it correctly, serving it at the right temperature and preserving it once opened using tools like Winesave’s argon technology, along with a soon to be growing collection of accessories. Whether you’re a wine professional or someone who enjoys a glass (or two) at home, I want to make it easier to maintain the quality the winemaker intended, right up to the very last sip.
